An Art Diary

Thank you for visiting www.marcellosculpture.com. In addition to my dissertation on Marcello, I also have begun to keep an on-line "art diary" consisting of exhibition, catalogue, and book reviews, most of which do not concern Marcello in any way. I began publishing reviews on-line in the art journal PART, where I was briefly the managing editor. Upon the end of my term at PART, I decided that I should continue posting my reviews on-line, yet at a much quicker pace, and under my own terms. Stacks of notes on exhibitions that I have seen sat in a pile on my desk for too long -- I feel they are interesting enough to share. Hence this portion of my website was born. It should be stated at the outset that the Art Diary is made up of my own writings and musings, and the material contained herein reflects my own opinions, and not those of any persons or institutions with which I may have an affiliation.
